




Pre-Olympic Training in West Devon.
Tavistock, Okehampton and Kelly College in the South West of England have been approved as pre-Olympics training camp for football, athletics, badminton and table tennis.
Facilities across the three sites include Sports Halls, Athletic track, Badminton with eight playing areas, Football including 12 grass pitches and 3 synthetic pitches plus eight playing areas for Table Tennis.

Tavistock has a long history and is a vibrant and interesting town to live and visit, and has World Heritage status as part of the eastern Gateway to the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site.

Tavistock to host two Olympic Atheletes
The Swaziland team will arrive in Tavistock in July, two athletes – both sprinters – will arrive in Tavistock on July 8. Sibusiso Matsenjwa, 24, is nick-named 'Swazibolt' after top sprinter Usain Bolt, his idol.
Matsenjwa's record includes a win in the 200m in the African National Games and victories in the 100m and 200m in the National Championship. 
Phumlile Ndzinisa, 19, is also regarded highly by Swaziland athletics bosses and is considered by some to be the country's top athlete. Her growing CV includes a third place in the 200m in the World Championships held in Daegu, Korea, last September. Twelve days after winning the bronze medal, she finished fourth in the All-Africa Games in the 400m.
The National Olympic Committee for Swaziland, selected West Devon as the site for final training for the duo prior to the London Games, which take place between July 27 and August 12.

Kelly College Kelly College is a private, independent school for pupils from 11-18 years old. It was built in 1877 to educate the sons of naval officers.
